Dr Marcin Górski

Barrister. Lecturer and associate professor in the Jean Monnet Chair of European Constitutional Law of the Faculty of Law and Administration, University of Łódź.

In 2000-2001 studied law at the University of Nijmegen (NL) under the Socrates/Erasmus Programme. Aprentice at Bird & Bird (Brussels) and Ernst & Young (Warsaw). In 2002 - lawyer at Ernst & Young Legal (Warsaw). In 2002-2003 verified translations of the EC legislation into Polish for the Government.

In 2006 defended doctoral thesis and was granted the doctoral title for the dissertation "Instruments of Commercial Policy of the European Union". Published chapters and articles on the EU/EC and the WTO law. Scholarships holder from the Poland's Ministry for Science and from the Government of Switzerland (research in Fribourg 2005-2006).

Fields of exprtise: EU/EC law, international economic law (international trade law).

Since 2006 - partner in Tataj Górski Adwokaci Partheship Co.

Piotr Snopczyk
Barrister's trainee.

In 2002-2007 studied law at the Faculty of Law and Administration,
University of Łódź.

In 2005-2006 took part in the Legal Clinic Program at Faculty of Law and
Administration, University of Łódź, providing free-of-charge legal advice
for clients unable to afford legal assistance for financial reasons.

In 2005 completed courses in mediation and psychology, organized by the
Legal Clinic Program.

In 2007 defended Master's Thesis and was granted the Master's title for the
dissertation "Faking suicides as a method of covering murders - the problems
of proper assessment of the reason and circumstances of a violent death".

Specialises in civil executive procedure, criminal procedure and forensic

In 2006-2008 Head of the philosophical and comparative legal studies section of Young Lawyers' Academic Study Group at Faculty of Law and Administration, University of Lodz, as well as Head of the American law section. In 2007-2008, Vice President of the YLASG.
In 2006-2008 acting advisor to Students' Advocate at University of Lodz.

In 2006-2007 took part in a Legal Clinic Program at Faculty of Law and Administration, University of Lodz, providing free-of-charge legal advice for the impoverished clients, who would normally be unable to afford legal assistance.
